FAQs:

Is it a Backup Plugin ?

No but has some similarities. This plugin can possibly save you the time of reinstalling a full backup with its snapshot feature. So if the site goes down you can first try WP Reset snapshot feature to try and get the site back up and running from a restore point before the possible change that made the site go down.

Can it fix hacked sites ?

That really depends on how the site was infected. If files were affected or just DB or both. WP Reset can certainly help to restore to a clean snapshot + you can use the Emergency Recovery Script to clean up core files but, again, there are situations where that's not enough.

Is it a Migration Tool ?

No. You can use it as a partial migration tool for parts of Wordpress.

Do I loose updates If I restoring Snapshots ?

Restoring the snapshot gets you 100% back to the state the site it was when the snapshot was created. So, any content created in the meanwhile will get lost. So frequent snapshots can help alleviate the content loss problem.
